Telligent Masonry is a company that offers safe and professional service. Employees of Telligent Masonry engage in many charitable activities and support the DC Student Trades Foundation.
In the early 2000s, career and technical education interests had begun to dwindle, prompting the District of Columbia schools to stop certain vocational classes that had been in place for years. In conjunction with community and business partners, the DC Students Construction Foundation kickstarted the Academy of Construction and Design in 2005. This academy went on to ignite interest in technical and career education while restoring professional trade courses to public education.
In 2010, the foundation also kickstarted a Build a House-Build a Future program and was focused on construction education. Every year, this program provides many high school students with the opportunity to gain real-life experience from various renovation and construction sites. Generous industry employers and partners support these unique programs and training projects.
